Overview
Our client, a private bank, is looking for a Japanese-speaking Assistant Relationship Manager in Singapore. This role provides support to Relationship Managers in managing day-to-day activities, administrative tasks, and client relationships. The position involves working closely with both internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operations, timely communication, and a high standard of service delivery. The individual will contribute to maintaining and developing client relationships while assisting in the coordination and execution of various initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Client Support & Administration
Assist in handling client-related activities, including preparation of materials, coordination of meetings, and follow-up actions
Support the processing of client requests, documentation, and reporting requirements
Help organize schedules, meetings, and business-related travel arrangements
Contribute to the preparation of presentations and other client-facing materials
Business & Operational Support
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient information flow and task execution
Provide support in ongoing projects, initiatives, and process improvements
Maintain accurate records and documentation of activities
Assist in expense tracking and general administrative matters
Risk & Compliance
Support adherence to internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
Assist in maintaining proper documentation and addressing any outstanding items
Escalate potential issues where appropriate and ensure follow-through
Requirements
Skills & Attributes
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Detail-oriented with good organizational and time management abilities
Client-focused mindset with a professional and proactive approach
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Experience & Knowledge
Familiarity with financial services or client servicing environments is advantageous
Basic understanding of financial products, markets, or regulations is a plus
Proficiency in Japanese required to liaise with Japanese speaking stakeholders.
