Job Description

Overview

Our client, a private bank, is looking for a Japanese-speaking Assistant Relationship Manager in Singapore. This role provides support to Relationship Managers in managing day-to-day activities, administrative tasks, and client relationships. The position involves working closely with both internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operations, timely communication, and a high standard of service delivery. The individual will contribute to maintaining and developing client relationships while assisting in the coordination and execution of various initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Client Support & Administration

  • Assist in handling client-related activities, including preparation of materials, coordination of meetings, and follow-up actions

  • Support the processing of client requests, documentation, and reporting requirements

  • Help organize schedules, meetings, and business-related travel arrangements

  • Contribute to the preparation of presentations and other client-facing materials

Business & Operational Support

  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient information flow and task execution

  • Provide support in ongoing projects, initiatives, and process improvements

  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of activities

  • Assist in expense tracking and general administrative matters

Risk & Compliance

  • Support adherence to internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements

  • Assist in maintaining proper documentation and addressing any outstanding items

  • Escalate potential issues where appropriate and ensure follow-through

Requirements

Skills & Attributes

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

  • Detail-oriented with good organizational and time management abilities

  • Client-focused mindset with a professional and proactive approach

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

Experience & Knowledge

  • Familiarity with financial services or client servicing environments is advantageous

  • Basic understanding of financial products, markets, or regulations is a plus

  • Proficiency in Japanese required to liaise with Japanese speaking stakeholders.

  • CACS Paper 1&2
