Job Summary
Lead sales strategy and key account management to achieve annual sales targets. Drive market growth by identifying trends, exploring new channel opportunities, and managing distributor relationships in the FMCG/cosmetics sector.
Responsibilities
- Formulate and implement sales strategies to achieve the annual sales plan
- Analyze market trends and data to identify sustainable long-term sales and market share opportunities
- Proactively explore and develop new channel business opportunities with distributors to add value and grow their business
- Maintain positive relationships with distributors and key retailers to support business growth
- Lead negotiation and contract strategy with distributors, including conducting regular market visits to understand business dynamics
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver accurate financial analysis and product forecasting regularly
- Liaise with global teams to facilitate market needs, including product registrations
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Degree holder in Business Administration or related discipline
- Minimum 5 years of sales and trade marketing experience in FMCG or key global/regional retailers
- At least 3 years handling key accounts within FMCG/cosmetics business in Asia markets
- Strong numerical skills with ability to analyze and present account profits and margins
- Good commercial awareness and business acumen
- In-depth knowledge of account management across key distributor accounts
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to drive discussions and negotiations for incremental business
- Ability to positively influence internal and external stakeholders and manage multi-brand portfolios
- Creative thinking for business development and problem-solving
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude and passion for working with multi-functional teams
- Willingness to travel as required
- Fluent in spoken and written English and Chinese
- Proficient in MS Office
- Immediate availability is highly preferred
