Assistant Quantity Surveyor Manager [ Permanent Role ]

- Salary is $5,000 - $7,500+ Variable Bonus [ No AWS ]
Job Requirements:
- At least a Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management.
- Minimum of 5-8 years of relevant experience include 2 years of managerial or senior level, preferably within a main contractor environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise a team of QS in all post-contract administration, including cost control, claims processing, and final account settlement.
- Develop and manage project budgets, control cash flow, and prepare monthly cost reports for financial tracking and forecasting.
- Administer the main contract and subcontracts, managing all variations, progress claims, extension of time requests, and loss and expense claims.
- Evaluate, negotiate, and award subcontractor and supplier packages in alignment with project budgets and procurement strategies.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to resolve commercial issues and ensure strict contract compliance.
- Certify subcontractor payments, variation orders, and final accounts.
- Drive value engineering and cost-saving initiatives to enhance project profitability.
- Ensure all commercial activities comply with relevant contract standards and local regulations.
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate commercial documentation and records.
- Participate in project meetings and audits, providing critical commercial oversight.
