As a Assistant QS Manager, you
- Demonstrate ability to lead and manage a team of Quantity Surveyors, ensuring efficient delegation of tasks, quality control of deliverables, and alignment with project goals. Skilled in mentoring junior QS staff, coordinating team efforts across multiple projects, and fostering a collaborative working environment to enhance productivity and professional development
- Are responsible for providing strategic cost and contract advice to support decision-making, mitigate financial risk, and ensure alignment between project delivery and commercial objectives.
- Play a pivotal role in managing the financial aspects of construction projects.
- Will be responsible for estimating project costs, monitoring budgets, and ensuring that the project remains financially viable from inception to completion.
Requirements
- Degree BSc (Hons) degrees in Commercial Management and Quantity Surveying or any relevant field.
- At least 10 years working experience.
- Quantity surveying background with several years of construction industry experience.
