Job Description:
- Lead and supervise assigned Quantity Surveying staff.
- Oversee the day-to-day execution of QS contractual functions and ensure timely delivery.
- Allocate and prioritise workload to maintain effective backlog and workload management.
- Monitor the quality and accuracy of claims, valuations, and contractual accounts.
- Ensure compliance with PSSCOC, company SOPs and relevant contractual requirements.
- Monitor outstanding contractual matters and drive timely resolution.
- Prepare and submit monthly QS reports including project status, risks and outstanding matters.
- Provide guidance and support to QS staff on contractual and QS matters.
- Monitor staff attendance, productivity and performance.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, HDB, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Escalate contractual, operational, and performance issues to management.
- Support process improvements and other assignments as required.
Job Requirements:
Qualifications
- Degree/Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction Management or a related discipline.
Experience
- Relevant experience in Quantity Surveying and contract administration.
Specific Skills/Knowledge
- Good knowledge of claims, valuations, contractual accounts and Variation Orders.
- Familiarity with PSSCOC and company SOPs.
- Experience working with consultants, contractors, and HDB will be an advantage.
Competencies
- Strong supervisory and team management skills.
- Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
- Able to manage workload effectively and meet deadlines.
