Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced QC Inspector to oversee welding quality and safety, ensuring compliance with project quality plans, specifications, and HSE regulations.
Responsibilities
- Apply advanced knowledge of modern welding to inspect and verify welding activities for quality and safety compliance
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure clear understanding of quality requirements
- Verify construction quality aligns with the approved Project Quality Plan
- Interpret and implement project-specific Inspection and Test Plans (ITP), procedures, and specification requirements
- Verify materials against drawings, cutting plans, and QC reports to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Conduct visual inspections of welding work and document findings in detailed reports
- Perform fit-up inspections against drawings and Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) to confirm proper assembly
- Demonstrate and enforce correct welding procedures on site to maintain quality standards
- Identify and raise Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) promptly when non-compliance is observed
- Ensure Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) requirements are consistently met and comply with all relevant regulations
- Conduct inspections related to Structure, Mechanical, Piping, and Blasting activities as required
- Execute additional tasks as directed by the Project Manager or QHSE Engineer
