Assistant QAQC Manager

Brief Summary

Join a dynamic team as an Assistant QA/QC Manager, where you will play a vital role in ensuring project quality standards are met through effective quality assurance and control processes. Your expertise will drive continuous improvement in quality performance on-site.

Responsibilities

1. Develop, implement, and manage tailored QAQC plans, inspection procedures, and checklists for specific projects.
2. Lead and conduct quality inspections, audits, and assessments across various trades to ensure compliance with standards.
3. Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams to resolve quality-related issues efficiently.
4. Review and approve material submissions and method statements to meet project specifications.
5. Maintain comprehensive documentation for inspection reports, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and corrective actions taken.
6. Train and mentor site teams on quality standards and best practices to elevate overall performance.
7. Prepare sites for quality assessments, including mock-up reviews and scoring strategies in line with project requirements.
8. Oversee material testing, mock-ups, PMU, and VMU works, particularly those related to façade components.
9. Monitor construction activities to ensure proper execution of work as per specifications.
10. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement to enhance quality performance across projects.

Requirements

1. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
2. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in quality assurance/quality control within the construction sector.
3. Strong understanding of industry standards and regulatory compliance processes.
4. Proven ability to lead quality assessments and audits effectively.
5. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse teams.
6. Familiarity with BCA CONQUAS and Quality Mark requirements is advantageous.
