Job Info:
- Salary: Basic up to $5800 + AWS + VB
- Working Hours: Monday - Friday (7:50am - 4:55pm)
- Location: Joo Koon (Company transport is provided at designated pick-up points island-wide)
Job Scope:
- Project & Task Oversight: Plan, manage, and execute projects and tasks in alignment with management goals
- Quality Management: Supervise QS & QM teams to ensure effective implementation of Quality & Environmental Management Systems (QEMS), enhancing product quality and customer satisfaction
- QEMS Compliance & Maintenance: Fulfill responsibilities as QEMR to uphold ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 13485, and IATF 16949 standards. Define, implement, and maintain quality and environmental objectives aligned with corporate strategies
- Regulatory & Customer Compliance: Ensure compliance with customer requirements, legal standards, and regulatory guidelines, identifying and implementing necessary process improvements
- Budget & Resource Planning: Oversee departmental budgets, workforce planning, and competency development to optimize efficiency
- Quality Control & Audits: Conduct vendor audits, internal and external ISO audits, and drive quality improvement initiatives such as TQC, F-Cost reduction activities, and QCC projects
- Process & Risk Management: Define and track key performance indicators while identifying and mitigating risks related to the environment, safety, and information security
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with internal teams, suppliers, and customers to address quality and environmental concerns
- Production Oversight: Authorize production halts to prevent the distribution of non-conforming products and ensure effective containment measures
- Regulatory Reporting: Notify relevant authorities of adverse events or required advisory notices in compliance with regulatory mandates
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering field or related discipline
- Minimum 5 years of work experience in engineering or quality assurance field with knowledge in Plating/ Chemical industry
- Possess Six Sigma Black Belt Cert - additional advantage
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 13485, and IATF 16949 standards
- Basic understanding of automotive 5 core tools (APQP, PPAP, MSA, FMEA, SPC) and good working knowledge of Minitab or JMP application will be added advantage
