Assistant Project Manager

Key Responsibilities

. Assist the Project Manager in managing electrical construction and installation works.

. Monitor project schedules and ensure timely completion of milestones.

. Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.

. Attend project meetings and prepare progress reports.

. Assist in project budgeting, cost control, and procurement activities.

Technical Coordination

. Review electrical drawings, specifications, and contract documents.

. Coordinate design development and resolve technical issues on site.

. Ensure compliance with authority requirements and industry standards.

. Support testing, commissioning, and handover activities.

Site Management

. Monitor site progress and supervise site engineers and supervisors.

. Ensure works are carried out according to approved drawings and method statements.

. Conduct site inspections and quality checks.

. Monitor safety compliance and enforce workplace safety requirements.

Documentation

. Prepare and maintain project documentation, including RFIs, shop drawings, material submissions, method statements, and progress reports.

. Track variation orders and contract changes.

. Assist in project close-out documentation.

Requirements

. Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering.

. 3-8 years of relevant experience in electrical construction or M&E projects.

. Good knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and regulations.

. Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office applications.

. Strong communication, coordination, and leadership skills.

. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.

Preferred Qualifications

. Experience in commercial, industrial, or data centre projects.

. Knowledge of Singapore standards and authority submission processes.

. Possession of Workplace Safety certifications is an advantage.
