To assist Project Manager in supervising and coordinating the site construction team for permanent steel structures.
Ensure strict implementation of safe work procedures and maintain a high standard of site safety.
Conduct regular site safety meetings and enforce safety measures on construction site.
Implement and review construction methodology specific to steel structure fabrication and erection, including feasibility studies of construction sequences.
Closely monitor project operations to ensure timely completion within schedule and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Update Management and the team daily on project progress, highlighting key milestones and challenges.
Organise and manage project resources (e.g. manpower, machinery, equipment, materials) for projects.
Perform other related duties as assigned, in line with project progress.
Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant local experience in permanent steel structure construction/ structural steel works.
Strong interpersonal communication skills and team player.
Proven track record in completing projects involving steel structures.
Willingness to work on construction sites and travel across Singapore as required.
