We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to support the planning, coordination, and execution of renovation and construction projects. The successful candidate will assist in managing site operations, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Project Manager in overseeing day to day site operations and project progress.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel to ensure smooth workflow.
- Monitor project schedules and track work progress to meet deadlines.
- Ensure works are carried out according to drawings, specifications, and client requirements.
- Attend site meetings and liaise with clients, consultants, and stakeholders.
- Support in procurement, material planning, and cost control.
- Ensure compliance with Singapore Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure quality standards and proper workmanship.
- Prepare reports, documentation, and project updates.
- Assist in resolving site issues, delays, and technical challenges.
Requirements
- Diploma / Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Minimum 1-3 years of relevant experience in construction or renovation projects.
- Basic knowledge of project coordination and site management.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Responsible, proactive, and able to work independently and in a team.
- Familiar with Singapore construction practices and regulations is preferred.
Additional Advantage
- Knowledge of 2D AutoCAD will be an added advantage.
