Assist the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and executing construction and engineering projects to ensure they are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with project specifications.
Coordinate project schedules, monitor progress, and ensure daily site activities are aligned with the overall project plan.
Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal engineering teams to facilitate project execution and resolve project-related issues.
Prepare, review, and maintain project documentation, including progress reports, Requests for Information (RFIs), change orders, meeting minutes, method statements, and compliance records.
Monitor procurement activities and track the delivery of materials and equipment to ensure timely site availability.
Assist in cost control by monitoring project expenditures, verifying subcontractor claims and invoices, and supporting budget management.
Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, workplace safety regulations, and statutory requirements.
Attend site meetings, coordinate inspections, and support project handover and close-out activities.
Identify project risks and assist in implementing corrective and preventive actions.
Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in construction or engineering project management.
Experience in ultra-high-purity (UHP) and chemical system installation projects will be an advantage.
Good understanding of construction methodologies, project coordination, and contract administration.
Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
