About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager to support the delivery and operations of IT systems projects. You will manage planning, execution, and monitoring to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with contractual and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers and manage project administration
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and milestones
- Manage resources, budgets, procurement, and subcontractors
- Identify and mitigate project risks and maintain risk/issue logs
- Provide regular progress reports and coordinate project meetings
- Monitor project performance, including milestones, manpower, and budget
- Ensure compliance with SLAs, contractual requirements, and security standards
- Collaborate with Scrum Master, Technical Manager, and Solution Architect on delivery and system implementation
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of project management experience, preferably in large scale IT or aviation-related environments
- Proven experience managing budgets, schedules, and resources
- Strong knowledge of risk management, procurement, and stakeholder coordination
- Proficient in MS Project, Jira, or similar tools
- Strong communication, reporting, and stakeholder management skills
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure
- Proactive team player with strong problem-solving abilities
