Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager to support the management and execution of electrical construction projects. The successful candidate will assist in project coordination, technical management, site supervision, and project delivery to ensure works are completed safely, on schedule, and in accordance with project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management & Coordination
- Assist the Project Manager in managing electrical installation and construction works.
- Monitor project progress, schedules, and key milestones.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Attend project meetings and provide regular progress updates.
- Support budgeting, cost monitoring, procurement, and project planning activities.
Technical Management
- Review electrical drawings, specifications, and contract requirements.
- Coordinate technical submissions, design clarifications, and site technical issues.
- Ensure compliance with Singapore standards, authority requirements, and project specifications.
- Support testing, commissioning, and project handover processes.
Site Supervision & Quality Control
- Monitor site activities and coordinate with site engineers and supervisors.
- Ensure installation works comply with approved drawings, method statements, and quality standards.
- Conduct site inspections and support quality control activities.
- Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) requirements.
Project Documentation
- Prepare and maintain project records, including RFIs, shop drawings, material submissions, method statements, and progress reports.
- Track variation works, contract changes, and project documentation.
- Assist in project completion and handover documentation.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in electrical construction, M&E, or building services projects.
- Good understanding of electrical systems, installation practices, and relevant regulations.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office.
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently and manage multiple project requirements.
