ROLE & JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide strategic oversight, leadership, and direction for all technical and engineering practices, ensuring the Contractor's operational standards, methodologies, and deliverables meet regulatory, contractual, and industry bestpractice requirements.
Drive the effective and efficient maintenance of both Facility Assets and Contractor Assets to achieve optimal performance, lifecycle reliability, and compliance with contractual obligations and operational KPIs.
Ensure the smooth, safe, and reliable functioning of the facility by applying bestinclass facilities management practices. This includes managing resources, services, processes, and operational workflows to support the daily needs of Building Users and to maintain a productive, safe, and conducive working environment.
Serve as the primary liaison between the Contractor and the Authority, facilitating clear communication, alignment of expectations, and timely resolution of issues. Manage operational activities, resource planning, and performance reporting to ensure seamless facility operations.
Oversee the implementation of engineering improvement initiatives, risk management plans, and preventive maintenance strategies to enhance asset resilience and reduce downtime.
Monitor and audit contractor performance to ensure adherence to SLAs, safety protocols, regulatory compliance, and quality standards.
Lead incident response, troubleshooting, and rootcause analysis for technical issues, ensuring corrective actions are effectively implemented.
REQUIREMENTS
Diploma in Facilities Management, Engineering, Building Services, or related field.
Minimum 4-6 years relevant experience in facility management.
Strong knowledge of Singapore regulatory requirements (LTA, SCDF, BCA & MOM).
Proven experience managing contractors, maintenance operations, safety protocols, and emergency response.
Excellent organisational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Hands-on, resourceful, and able to respond to operational issues promptly.
Manage and be responsible for out of hours incidents e.g. breakdowns, events, emergencies.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with construction project documentation.
