Assistant Production Manager
Report to : Project Manager
Min Qualifications / Experience
Diploma/Degree holder in Mechanical Engineering with 5 years of relevant experience
Job Skills Required
Possess broad and deep knowledge of production and project management, problem solving, interpersonal & leadership skills
Responsible For/authorised To
- Responsible for daily operations of project, workshop and store functions.
- Overall planning of production resources to ensure maximum utilization of manpower, facilities and materials.
- Monitor, plan and expedite all fabrication works to meet delivery schedule.
- Plan and review the upgrade of machinery equipment to achieve higher productivity and efficiency.
- Plan and maximize the working area in the workshop and open yard for fabrication work.
- Problem solving in fabrication, maintenance and projects issues.
- Provide guidance and assistance, where necessary to project engineers in the management of projects.
- Participate in the evaluation of contractors and suppliers short-listed by Procurement.
- Participate in technical and commercial discussion with client, inspectors, contractors and internal departments.
- Ensure a clean and safe working environment and maintain discipline in the in the production workforce including contractors.
- Any adhoc projects assigned by General Manager
