Job Summary
Support engineering teams to design, test, and improve manufacturing processes and products while ensuring equipment maintenance and quality standards are met in a dynamic production environment.
Responsibilities
- Execute assigned engineering and manufacturing tasks accurately to support product development and process improvements
- Collaborate with engineers and operators to design, develop, test, and enhance products and engineering processes for quality and efficiency
- Conduct regular equipment inspections and schedule maintenance to ensure operational reliability
- Inspect tooling for defects or inconsistencies and report findings to maintain production standards
- Evaluate products and processes to enforce quality assurance standardization and compliance
- Coordinate First Article (FA) runs and prepare detailed FA reports for review
- Calibrate and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment to minimize downtime and maintain performance
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to support project goals and resolve issues
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Diploma or equivalent with at least 2 years of manufacturing experience
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Knowledge or experience in New Product Introduction (NPI), process improvement methodologies, equipment maintenance, and quality control
- Strong analytical skills applied to problem-solving and process evaluation
- Demonstrated ability to work independently under pressure with minimal supervision
- Effective team leadership, interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills
- Good project and time management capabilities
- Self-motivated with a collaborative team approach
