Committed on delivering quality services, innovation and contributing to the industry's development, they aim to maintain and improve their current performance both locally and regionally of which they are seeking for an Assistant/Procurement Manager to be based at their HQ in Singapore.

Job Description

You will be reporting to the Head of Department directly.

Your responsibilities include:

  • To procure labour services related to operations to meet the organization's requirements for cost effectiveness, quality standards, and timeliness
  • Draft contract documents outlining contractors responsibilities and liabilities, safeguarding the company's interests
  • To collaborate with user departments to prepare tender documents with clear and detailed specifications aligned with business needs
  • To analyze tender submissions and negotiate with suppliers to select the best value offer for the organization
  • To perform post-contract management with internal stakeholders to ensure suppliers meet contractual obligations
  • Identify and manage risks that may arise during the contract tenure.
  • Work on sustainable procurement frameworks with labour suppliers, aligning with the organization's corporate sustainability goals

The Successful Applicant

You should have a Diploma or a Degree in Logistics/Supply Chain related field and experience in procurement activities. You must possess a strong understanding of end-to-end procurement such as sourcing, tendering process, contract management, and negotiations. You should have strong analytical and interpersonal skills with the ability to work as a team in a multi-level and fast-paced organization. Experience with Ariba, Oracle or SAP is essential and CIPS certification is an added advantage.
