Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm
Salary Range: S$3,500 - S$5,500
Annual Leave: 14 days (plus statutory leaves)
About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Assistant Nursery Manager to join our team at OneO2Plants. In this role, you will support the Senior Manager in leading daily operations, ensuring high-quality plant care, and driving operational excellence in our nursery.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in managing day-to-day nursery operations and staff supervision.
- Support production planning and scheduling for hydroculture plant projects.
- Allocate tasks and monitor performance of nursery workers.
- Oversee maintenance and utilization of nursery equipment and machinery.
- Ensure best horticultural practices in plant care, propagation, and upkeep.
- Assist in preparing costings and quotations for tenders, working with QS & Project teams.
- Contribute to continuous process and resource improvements.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Senior Manager or Management.
What We're Looking For
- Degree/Diploma in Horticulture, Plant Science, Agriculture, or related field.
- 3-5 years of nursery or horticultural management experience, preferably with hydroculture.
- Strong knowledge of plant propagation, pest/disease management, irrigation systems.
- Proven leadership in supervising and motivating teams.
- Familiarity with nursery equipment and machinery.
- Experience with costings/quotations is a plus.
- Proficiency in MS Office project management tools knowledge is an advantage.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Positive attitude, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or in a team.
