Job Description

Responsibilities

Provide direct clinical and operational leadership for nursing services, ensuring safe, evidence-based, and person-centered care. Oversee the supervision and performance management of Senior Staff Nurses, guiding them in effective shift operations and clinical issue escalation. Manage nursing manpower planning, including rostering, leave management, and staff development initiatives. Ensure adherence to regulatory compliance and internal policies, supporting audit preparations and addressing compliance gaps promptly. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to facilitate integrated care and effective communication across departments. Support nursing operations during emergencies and service disruptions, participating actively in Business Continuity Planning. Model professional nursing practice and promote a culture of safety, accountability, and respect within the nursing team. Mentor new nursing staff to uphold clinical standards and safety procedures while handling additional tasks related to nursing operations as needed.

Requirements

Registered Nurse with a valid registration from the relevant authority. Minimum of 5-8 years of nursing experience, preferably in long-term care or community care settings. At least 2-3 years in a supervisory or senior nursing role. Strong leadership presence with effective communication and conflict-management skills. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams while remaining organized and resilient under pressure.
