To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add an Assistant NPI & Product Engineering Manager located in Kallang, Singapore.
What a typical day looks like:
- Participating in NPI activities, including DFA and DFM, technical review & support with the design team (company design center/ Customer).
- Perform technical review and analyze new business RFP package to provide FGCM inputs (Cycle Time, Space) and NRE for manufacturing setup (Facilities, Jig, Fixture, Tester).
- Identify new Manufacturing setup requirements and develop a solution.
- Manage development projects that are designed to meet customer product specifications, delivery, and cost expectations
- Use technical knowledge of products and associated development tools to assist customers on complex issues
- Contribute to product development by determining customer product needs and translating these needs into new product recommendations and specifications.
- Review customer requirements, identify and communicate potential issues and provide recommendations that will meet both company capability and customers specifications.
- Identify and communicate existing and potential design issues both internally and externally.
- Provide best in class complex technical support by answering and closing all customer and program management technical support questions related to manufacturing capabilities including design, fabrication and assembly abilities.
- Assess possible changes to improve, optimize or re-design integrated circuitry for electronic equipment and systems
- Reviews and establishes manpower and equipment resource requirements
The experience we're looking to add to our team:
- Prior experience in NPI within a manufacturing environment is preferred
- Record of achievements in projects/implementations
- Typically requires a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in or related position
