Job Description

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Demand Planning and Purchase Orders

  • Assist in sell-through and inventory levels analysis on a weekly basis to ensure precise demand planning and monthly PO placement is optimal
  • Work with planner to submit monthly PO placement to HQ in a timely manner and liaise with product department on final PO placement
  • Work with planner to provide ideal manufacturing forecasting numbers to production, minimize opportunity misses and identify risk areas for incoming orders by providing insights and recommending course of action
  • Work with planner on liquidation plans such as transfer and bi-yearly/annual disposals

Merchandising Operations

  • Assist merchandising team to gather qualitative feedback from key stakeholders (Ecommerce / Operations / Merchandise / Brand Comms & Marketing / Regional Subsidiaries) to perform demand planning analysis
  • Upload Pricing, Merchandise Attributes & New SKUs into NetSuite system
  • Maintain sales master files based on latest line list and update with latest production information and orders
  • Split confirmed POs by DTC/Wholesale level
  • Assist in GTM meetings and consolidate Footwear, Apparel & Accessories orders post GTM into sales master files

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Diploma or equivalent experience with at least 2 years of work experience in retail business in allocation/business/merchandise planning
  • Nimble with software and high proficiency with Microsoft office (Excel & PowerPoint)
  • Good communication & interpersonal skills, proactive.
  • Strong and demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and collaborate
