Assistant Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Mechanical Engineer to support the Design and Engineering team in the development of mechanical systems.

The ideal candidate should possess strong foundation in mechanical engineering principles and have practical experience using AutoCAD for drafting and design work.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to work closely with Senior Product Designer on a variety of engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the design of mechanical components
• Prepare and modify technical drawings, layouts, and schematics using AutoCAD and 3D software.
• Support project planning and bill of material activities
• Review technical specifications of material and parts
• Maintain engineering records, drawings, and reports
• Participate in project meetings as required

Qualifications

• Experienced in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Knowledgeable in AutoCAD or 3Dvsoftware
• Basic understanding of mechanical engineering drawing
• Good communication and teamwork ability

Preferred Skills

• Experience with 2D and 3D CAD drafting.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with additional design software such as SolidWorks or Inventor is a plus
