Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Help in creating mechanical system designs, including calculations, selecting components, and making drawings.
  • Prepare detailed engineering drawings and specifications for mechanical parts and systems.
  • Review and verify design calculations for accuracy.
  • Monitor project progress according to schedule and budget.
  • Maintain project documentation, including technical reports and meeting notes.
  • Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Assist with the on-site installation and setup of mechanical systems.
  • Conduct quality checks on installed equipment and materials.
  • Identify and troubleshoot technical issues during construction.
  • Prepare purchase orders for mechanical components and equipment.
  • Evaluate vendor proposals and source materials based on specifications.
  • Research new technologies and materials relevant to mechanical engineering projects.
  • Analyse engineering data to identify potential issues and suggest solutions.
