Roles& Responsibilities:
1. Assist the Head of Risk Management in the implementation of the overall company Risk Management Framework (policies, procedures and methodologies).
2. Assist the Head of Risk Management in the assessment of risks andimplementation of appropriate limits for new activities. Assess the materialityof gaps in the valuation and risk measurement of existing transactions.
3. Conduct regular review on the appropriateness of established limits, inlight of current trading book strategies and monitor established limits andcompliance to trading and control policies.
4. Responsible for effective monitoring, early warning and reporting of thetrading books under his/her responsibility. To communicate effectively withfront and back office personnel, as well as to ensure completeness and accuracyof data in the system. On a daily basis in accordance to the Company policies,to compute, monitor, analyse and report the exposure of the books, ensuringthat the exposures are under the approved limits. Effective monitoring andunderstanding of market so as to mitigate potential risk events that theCompany may encounter.
5. Perform monthlyclosing tasks as required for the books under his/her responsibility, andprovide analysis for the profit and loss position for the books. Also to assistin the drafting of various reports as requested by the Risk ManagementCommittee.
6. Possess a strongunderstanding of market risk valuation models, including the principlesunderlying VaR methodologies, and be responsible for maintaining and enhancingexisting VaR models to ensure their ongoing relevance and effectiveness.Conduct stress testing, scenario analysis, and back-testing on a regular basisin accordance with requirements to ensure the validity and reliability of riskmeasurement results. In addition, provide value-added risk analysis andinsights to Management and trading teams on sources of profit and loss, keyrisk exposures, and scenario analysis to support informed decision-making.
7. Gather and compiledaily mark to market prices and any relevant data and information fordissemination to relevant personnel and uploading of the data into CXL system.Also to perform End-of-Day operations in CXL system.
8. Possess foundational knowledge of the biofuels market, including itsmarket dynamics, business models, and pricing mechanisms.
9. Responsible for thehedging business of the account in charge, including but not limited to thereview and monitoring of the hedging strategy, the evaluation of the hedgingeffectiveness, the accuracy and rationality of the hedging ratio calculation,the review of the monthly, quarterly and annual reports of the hedging business,and the compliance inspection etc.
Requirements:
1. University Degree in arelevant discipline is required. Post-graduate degree in Business, Economics,Finance, or other numerical discipline preferred
2. Min. 10 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in similar capacity
3. High degree of IT literacy as an enabler to the quantification, measurement & reporting oftrading risks & exposures;

5. Excellent communication skills, strong team player with ability to work collaboratively with external vendor, and internal staff in the Trading, Risk Management, Operations, Finance and IT Departments
6. Possess strongbusiness acumen, good team spirit and excellent organizational, communication& interpersonal Skills
7. Meticulous, good organisational, time management skills and stress tolerance with proven ability to manage multiple priorities
8. Effectively bilingual in both English and Mandarin (as the position needs to frequently communicate with English/Chinese-speaking stakeholders verbally/ in writing as well as to prepareand proof-read English/Chinese official documents and presentations wheneverappropriate).
