Join our Vessel Finance team to lead endtoend financial management for a fleet of managed vessels.
This is a key role supporting ship operations, owners, auditors, and crossfunctional maritime teams. You will oversee full vessel accounting, cash flow management, team supervision, and accurate financial reporting for both inhouse and thirdparty managed vessels.
Key Responsibilities
1. Oversee Vessel Financial Operations
- Lead full spectrum of accounting for inhouse and 3rdparty vessels, including month-end close and reporting accuracy.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reports to shipowners.
2. Vessel Cash Flow Management
- Manage CashtoMaster arrangements and monitor vessel operating expenses.
- Maintain vessel cash flow planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
3. Team Leadership
- Supervise, guide, and develop Fleet & Crew Accountants to ensure timely deliverables and compliance with accounting standards.
4. Financial Controls & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, statutory requirements, and maritime finance standards.
- Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers, and classification of accounts for annual audit preparations.
5. CrossFunctional Collaboration
- Work closely with Fleet Managers, Crewing, Procurement, and General Manager to support vessel operations.
- Communicate with shipowner finance teams on vessel financial matters.
Requirements
Experience & Knowledge
- Minimum 8 years of Accounting/Finance experience, including vessel accounting or ship management exposure strongly preferred.
- Strong financial reporting, variance analysis and costcontrol capabilities.
- Skilled in accounting software and advanced MS Excel.
Skills & Education
- High attention to detail, strong professionalism, adaptability, and ability to work crossculturally.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or related discipline.
- Proficiency in English additional languages such as Filipino or basic Chinese advantageous.
