About the Role:

We are looking for a proactive and results-driven Assistant Manager to join our team in Singapore. As an Assistant Manager, you will support senior leadership in managing day-to-day operations, executing key projects, and improving processes. This role is perfect for someone looking to develop leadership and managerial skills while contributing to the growth of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist senior management in the planning, coordination, and execution of departmental initiatives and business strategies.
  • Supervise and guide team members, providing support and mentoring to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Contribute to setting goals, monitoring performance, and providing feedback to improve team productivity.
  • Manage and optimize workflow, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and communications for senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Monitor and analyze operational performance, identifying opportunities for improvement and efficiency gains.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive key projects and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in resolving operational issues and conflicts to maintain a positive and productive work environment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
  • 24 years of experience in a supervisory or assistant management role.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and project management tools.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have:

  • Experience in project management or process improvement initiatives.
  • Exposure to Agile or Lean management practices.
  • Knowledge of industry-specific software and tools.
  • Ability to work with data and generate insights to support decision-making.
