Job Description

[What the role is]

We are looking for a Assistant Manager to support the management and coordination of telecom operators in ensuring compliance with regulatory and contractual obligations, delivery of service quality, and achievement of project objectives. The role involves engagement with telcos, monitoring performance, maintaining accurate records, and supporting implementation of new initiatives and policies.

[What you will be working on]

  • Manage day-to-day engagement with telcos to ensure timely follow-up on operational matters and monitor compliance with regulatory obligations, SLAs, and reporting requirements
  • Manage the SIM DB mailbox, identify anomalies, perform error handling, and maintain accurate records in the telco database
  • Support coordination with telcos on project initiatives and implementation of new policies while preparing reports, dashboards, and management updates
  • Draft and update SOPs, response templates, and documentation to ensure consistency and support IMDA in liaising with internal teams for telco matters
  • Provide support in escalations, issue resolution, and policy implementation across various stakeholder groups

[What we are looking for]

  • Background in Telecommunications, Engineering, or related field.
  • At least 2-3 years of relevant experience in telecom operations or vendor management.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
