Job Description

The NTU Student Affairs Office (SAO) plays a pivotal role in fostering the holistic development of students. We collaborate and co-create a vibrant, meaningful, and enriching student life experience through:

  • Student-led activities and leadership development initiatives.

  • Residential hall programmes and integration efforts.

  • Community engagement and overseas service-learning projects.

  • Arts, sports, and wellness programmes.

SAO is part of the Student and Academic Services Department (SASD), which supports students across the entire life cycle-from admission to graduation and beyond.

Opportunities Across Our Pillars

We are continuously seeking passionate professionals to join us in various portfolios. Depending on your expertise and interests, you may contribute to one or more of the following areas:

1. International Student Support & Integration

  • Empower international scholars in their transition and integration into NTU and Singapore.

  • Provide case management and student support services.

  • Design and implement diversity and integration programmes.

  • Collaborate with student leaders, faculty, and staff to promote inclusive practices.

2. Marketing & Communications / Overseas Community Engagement

  • Drive visibility of student life initiatives through digital and social media campaigns.

  • Manage communication collaterals for major student events (e.g. Orientation).

  • Support and mentor student leaders in Overseas Community Engagement Projects (OCEP).

  • Ensure risk assessment and safety compliance for overseas trips.

3. Leadership Development of Students

  • Lead foundational and emergent leadership programmes under the Leadership Academy.

  • Coordinate global leadership opportunities with external partners.

  • Manage training for NTU Student Ambassadors.

  • Support cross-functional student development initiatives at the university level.

What We Look For
We welcome applicants with diverse backgrounds who share our passion for student development. Ideal candidates may have:

  • Degree in any discipline.

  • 3-6 years of relevant experience in student affairs, youth development, marketing/communications, or leadership training.

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and facilitation skills.

  • Experience in event management, programme design, or overseas project coordination.

  • A collaborative spirit and ability to work with students and colleagues from diverse cultures.

  • Passion for nurturing young people and empowering them to achieve their goals.
