Assistant Manager, Research Office (2 years contract)

Reporting to the Head of the Biostatistics Unit, you will provide statistical consultation to researchers on all statistical-related matters.

You will be responsible for the following:

• Provide statistical consultation on clinical research design, sample size calculation, and statistical analysis methodology.
• Perform statistical analyses and interpret the result for researchers.
• Collaborate with researchers as co-PI/collaborator on funded research projects.
• Draft the statistical sections for clinical research protocols, research proposals, and manuscripts for publications.

Requirements

• Good Class Honours Degree/BSc/Master MSc with 1 to 3 years in Statistics or related qualification
• With relevant experience is preferred
• Strong expertise with a comprehensive understanding of designing and analyzing various types of clinical research studies, including clinical trials and epidemiological research
• Proficient in SPSS/STATA/R
• Ability to multi-task and work independently under tight timelines
• Good analytical and organization skills
• Excellent communication, problem solving, presentation, negotiation and interpersonal skill
