Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly organizedAssistant Managerto oversee the operational and administrative delivery of ourSpecialised Master'sprogrammes.

In this role, you will manage the complete student lifecycle-from enrolment to graduation-and ensure all academic, administrative, and operational processes align seamlessly with University policies. Based at NBS, you will play a critical role in delivering an exceptional student experience by collaborating closely with faculty, internal departments, industry partners, and students.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Deliver positive and enriching academic and student experiences with professionalism and integrity.

  • Work with the Cluster Lead and Academic Director on curriculum review, timetabling, and programme planning to ensure smooth operations.

  • Lead the planning and execution of programme orientation, procurement, workshops, and student activities in coordination with other Specialised Masters programmes.

  • Manage programme budgets prudently and ensure responsible spending.

  • Prepare instructor approvals and support teaching administration.

  • Disseminate course information and announcements, coordinate venue bookings.

  • Provide faculty support, including preparation of class materials and logistics.

  • Advise students on course planning, prerequisites, and graduation requirements.

  • Perform accurate course registration and ensure timely submission of data.

  • Monitor students academic progression and ensure adherence to candidature requirements.

  • Plan and oversee social, networking, and professional development events for students.

  • Ensure compliance with assessment and examination policies maintain accurate student records and grades.

  • Gather and analyse student feedback to support programme improvement.

Requirements:

Must Have:

  • Bachelor's degree with 3-5 years of programme management experience, preferably in an institute of higher learning.

  • Strong organisational, planning, and administrative skills meticulous and detail oriented.

  • Good understanding of budget management and financial processes.

  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.

  • Service oriented with empathy and patience in student interactions.

  • Proficient in MS Office applications.

  • Ability to prepare administrative reports, compile data, and manage documentation accurately.

  • Strong teamwork, resourcefulness, adaptability, and independence.

  • Familiarity with university systems and policies.

Good to Have:

  • Prior experience supporting graduate level academic programmes.

  • A growth mindset and willingness to take on new responsibilities.

  • Ability to work occasional evenings or weekends during peak periods.
