Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies to achieve cost-effective procurement of materials and equipment.
  • Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, reliability, and price competitiveness to ensure optimal supply chain performance.
  • Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing agreements to secure favorable conditions for the organization.
  • Manage supplier relationships to maintain consistent performance and ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Analyze market trends and perform cost analysis to inform sourcing decisions and optimize expenses.
  • Track and report supplier performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with finance, production, and quality assurance teams to align sourcing objectives with company goals.
  • Drive initiatives to improve supply chain efficiency, reduce costs, and mitigate risks.
  • Support ad-hoc assignments as directed by direct superior

Requirements:

  • Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering or related discipline
  • At least 5 years purchasing experience in electronics/ semiconductor contract manufacturing industry
  • Strong negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment with high ownership
  • Electronic technical knowledge is advantageous
  • Proficiency in supplier relationship management and contract administration
  • Knowledge of cost optimization, market research, and supply chain management principles
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
