Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and implement programmes that support the rehabilitation and reintegration of ex-offenders and their families
  • Build strong partnerships with government agencies, community organisations, corporate partners, and volunteers
  • Monitor programme effectiveness, analyse outcomes, and prepare reports for stakeholders and management
  • Oversee volunteer recruitment, training, engagement, and compliance with SPS requirements
  • Develop meaningful volunteer experiences and recognition initiatives to encourage long-term involvement
  • Support fundraising initiatives, donor engagement, and community outreach efforts
  • Coordinate faith-based activities, centre operations, and programme logistics
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff while fostering a collaborative and service-oriented team culture
  • Represent the organisation at meetings, events, and stakeholder engagements
  • Support other organisational initiatives and duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Community Development, or related field
  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in social services, rehabilitation, or programme management
  • Experience working with ex-offenders, vulnerable groups, or volunteers is an advantage
  • Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred

OTHER INFORMATION

Working Hours

  • 5-day work week, totalling 44 hours per week
  • Typical schedule:
    • Weekdays: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (5 days)
  • Flexibility is required to meet operational demands, including:
    • Evening, weekend, and public holiday duties
    • Responsiveness to the needs of released inmates and programme operations
