Manage accurate and timely payroll execution for associates in Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan, and Shanghai.
Handle statutory submissions and tax compliance matters for these locations.
Ensure adequate controls, including audit, confidentiality, and documentation are in place for payroll-related matters.
Prepare payroll-related information and analysis for internal and external stakeholders.
Calculate commissions and incentives for sales and marketing departments.
Manage month-end closing processes, including journal uploads and balance sheet reconciliations.
Identify and implement improvements to payroll processes.
Address payroll-related inquiries from associates and other stakeholders.
Participate in the implementation of payroll processes in new locations (if any).
Provide meaningful guidance to payroll team to assist them properly execute their assigned duties.
Requirements:
Diploma in Accounting
At least 6-8 years of payroll experience in a sales and marketing related payroll environment
Core competency must be in payroll and payroll accounting
Preferably handled payroll for at least 1-2 of these 4 listed locations - Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan and Shanghai
Must have experience working with external payroll vendors
