JOB PURPOSE AND SCOPE
. Marketing & Sourcing of DGI LNG Portfolio
. Intelligence work of natural gas and LNG market
. Business development of natural gas and LNG
JOB ACCOUNTABILITY
. Scrutinize and identify the sales & Purchase opportunity which matches company's policy and positions. To keep up with latest situations of the sellers & buyers.
. Establish and maintain engaging relationship with customers especially Japanese customers
. Develop negotiation strategy once proceeding to the commercial negotiation stage.
. To provide management with justification and explanation required for the risk taking which comes with new sales opportunity.
. Support team to make presentation material for our customers both in English and Japanese
. Develop & maintain market intelligence and information database which touches on competitor landscape, buyers and sellers situation/intention, to help management make right decisions for the future policies.
. Support formulation of price evaluation & market intelligence gathering efforts in response to market events and industry trends, through in-house modelling to capture & maximize value for mid and long-term opportunities.
. Liaise with Internal stakeholders in relation to origination including the parent company in Japan and prepare documents in Japanese for the application for internal approval from the parent company in Japan
. Any other matters fall under Origination team within DGI.
QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE & COMPETENCIES
. Minimum Bachelor degree in Marketing/Economics/Finance or any related discipline.
. Proven experienced in LNG business is an added advantage.
. Good knowledge in oil & gas industry, deep understanding of supply/demand fundamentals with Strong analytical & problem-solving abilities.
. Strong analytical, problem solving abilities, excellent interpersonal, and communication skills.
. Proficient and fluent in English and Japanese (written and verbal communication in Japanese with internal and external stakeholder is required)
