Job Description

[What the role is]

You will be part of a dynamic HR team and drive hiring initiatives across a diverse range of executive and technical roles. Working closely with hiring managers and the HR business partners, you will lead sourcing strategies, build strong talent pipelines, and support recruitment outcomes to onboard the right talent to drive and support IMDA's mission and goals. In this role, you will need to acquire a good understanding of IMDA manpower needs and challenges, and you will be expected to follow through the end-to-end recruitment process. In addition, you will be required to proactively source for and incorporate market-relevant talent channels / platforms to meet our emerging and critical hiring goals.

[What you will be working on]

Responsibilities

  • Drive talent sourcing and candidate engagement by leveraging LinkedIn Recruiter, Careers@Gov, professional networks and other sourcing channels to identify and engage active and passive candidates
  • Engage senior leadership on their executive search needs as well as relevant line managers on their overall manpower needs to target the right talent for the organisation
  • Manage recruitment activities including candidate sourcing, screening, competency-based interviewing, offer discussions and stakeholder communications to ensure a positive candidate experience
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill positions through ongoing engagement with potential candidates
  • Provide market insights on talent availability / mapping, hiring trends and competitor practices to support recruitment planning and hiring decisions.
  • Monitor recruitment metrics and sourcing effectiveness, identify opportunities for process improvement, and contribute to initiatives that enhance overall talent acquisition outcomes.
  • Undertake any other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

[What we are looking for]


Requirements

  • Education in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Information Systems or a related field
  • At least 8-10 years of comprehensive and end-to-end talent acquisition experience
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication (written and oral) and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in targeting and hiring mid-career/senior professionals, with understanding of candidate engagement and compensation negotiations
  • Good understanding of recruitment best practices and talent market dynamics
  • Strong assessment and interviewing skills with ability to evaluate culture fit and competencies
  • Experience with applicant tracking system and recruitment technologies
  • Self-motivated team player
