Report to the Centre Director, Stage One & Global Partnerships and work closely with other team members in meeting the organisation's KPIs. As the Assistant Manager/ Manager for Stage One & Global Partnerships, your portfolio entails:
Internationalisation
Support startups in their internationalisation growth plans through:
- Identifying oversea markets with opportunities for Singapore-based startups and developing the corresponding market entry strategies
- Providing market insights for Singapore-based startups to understand opportunities in key overseas markets
- Establishing strategic partnerships with foreign government, ecosystem partners and corporates to ease the entry into overseas markets or to engage promising overseas startups
- Leading business missions for startups to attend key global tech conferences
Market Immersion and Landing
Support foreign startups expanding into Singapore through:
- Sharing of Singapore's startup ecosystem and business environment
- Connecting and directing them to the relevant support
- Designing and working with Singapore-based partners to run market immersion programmes
- Running the Stage One Campus and related operations including engagement tracking and reporting
Startup Ecosystem Engagement
- Engage Singapore-based ecosystem partners and startups regularly to have better understanding of the emerging trends and developmental needs of startups at different stages of growth
- Organise and participate in networking events to bring together and connect with the startup community and partners
- Managing or participating in any projects, or undertake any other duties as assigned by the supervisor or the Management.
Requirements:
- Degree in a relevant field.
- 1-3 years work experience in a similar capacity. Fresh graduates with the relevant skills sets may also apply.
- You are obsessed with details and display unquestionable work ethics.
- A plus to have some domain knowledge of the startup scene, but more importantly you have a genuine passion for entrepreneurship and emerging technologies.
