What The Role Is
As the Assistant Manager/ Manager/ Senior Manager (Youth Leadership & Engagement), you will be part of an agile team that empowers youth to have a voice in the national-level issues. You will also support the team to identify and develop youth leaders together with other Government agencies and industry partners, while cultivating trust and strong relationships with the young people that you engage.
What You Will Be Working On
You will gain experience and hone your skills through the following responsibilities:
- Design and execute online and face-to-face engagement experiences for youths from diverse backgrounds to have a voice and take action in issues that are important to them.
- Design and execute national-level leadership programmes for youths to deepen their understanding and appreciation of national perspectives.
- Systematically identify and engage youth leaders for deployment in NYC and Whole-of-Government opportunities.
- Use a Customer Relationship Management System to track, coordinate and report efforts in youth engagement and development.
- Support partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to forge meaningful collaborations and ensure broad-based participation across different segments of youths.
- Oversee administrative and procurement-related matters relating to youth programmes and events.

- Preferably have knowledge and interest of youth-related issues and policies.
- Preferably have experience facilitating and guiding meaningful conversations with youths.
- Preferably have experience in relationship management and familiar with commercial Customer Relationship Management platforms.
- Candidates with at least 5-6 years of relevant experience may be considered for the Senior Manager position. Senior Manager candidates must possess relevant experience in designing and leading youth engagement and youth development programmes and may be required to perform supervisory duties.
