Assistant Manager / Manager, Regional Treasury Advisory & Transformation

A leading financial services organization specializing in investment management, corporate finance, treasury operations, and strategic financial solutions. The company is looking for seeking an experienced treasury professional to support regional treasury advisory and transformation initiatives across Asia Pacific.

This role partners with business, finance, and regional stakeholders to evaluate treasury-related challenges, develop practical solutions, and drive initiatives that enhance funding efficiency, working capital management, treasury governance, and financial risk management.

The successful candidate will play a key role in translating business requirements into actionable treasury solutions, driving transformation initiatives, and supporting management decision-making through insightful analysis and recommendations. The role requires a strong sense of ownership, leadership, and the ability to influence stakeholders across functions and countries.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Treasury Advisory & Business Partnering

• Partner with regional business and finance teams to understand treasury-related requirements and challenges.

• Evaluate funding, liquidity, working capital, and financial risk management needs across APAC entities.

• Assess business proposals, investments, and strategic initiatives from a treasury and financing perspective.

• Develop practical and commercially sound recommendations that balance business objectives, risk considerations, and operational feasibility.

• Prepare analysis, proposals, presentations, and management papers to support decision-making.

• Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders by translating complex treasury matters into clear business recommendations.

Treasury Transformation & Strategic Initiatives

• Lead or support regional treasury transformation initiatives and strategic projects.

• Drive standardization, centralization, digitalization, and automation initiatives across treasury processes.

• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, governance, controls, transparency, and scalability.

• Support implementation of treasury-related systems, solutions, and process enhancements.

• Evaluate emerging technologies, automation opportunities, and innovative ways of working.

Business Analysis & Problem Solving

• Analyze treasury and finance-related issues and identify root causes.

• Develop practical, sustainable, and scalable solutions to business challenges.

• Assess risks, trade-offs, operational impacts, and implementation considerations of proposed initiatives.

• Utilize data and analytics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.

• Challenge existing practices constructively and recommend improvements where appropriate.

REQUIREMENTS

Assistant Manager

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Treasury, Banking, Corporate Finance, Financial Consulting, Finance Transformation, or related disciplines.

Manager

• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience with exposure to regional or cross-border business activities preferred.

Technical & Professional Skills

• Strong understanding of treasury, banking, corporate finance, funding, liquidity, or financial risk management concepts.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.

• Experience in project management, process improvement, or business transformation initiatives.

• Ability to develop business cases and management recommendations.

• Strong presentation, communication, and business writing skills.

• Experience working with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
