Job Description

[What the role is]

Join a dynamic team driving strategies and programmes to build a vibrant media industry in Singapore. You will play a key role in positioning Singapore as a leading media hub, working with international media MNCs, local SMEs, industry associations, and award-winning talents. In this role, you will collaborate with showrunners, IP creators, film opinion leaders, and both local and international screen agencies to foster partnerships that elevate Singapore's media talent and companies to global relevance.

[What you will be working on]

  • Industry Development: Design and implement strategic and tactical plans to achieve Singapore media industry growth and deliver economic objectives.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams across IMDA and government agencies, while building long-term relationships with external partners to achieve shared outcomes.
  • Talent & Capability Building: Conceptualise and drive collaborations with local stakeholders and international partners to nurture Singapore's media talent.
  • Programme Management: Oversee ongoing projects, proactively resolve challenges, and ensure timely delivery of outcomes.
  • Insights & Policy Support: Review and analyse project and talent data to support knowledge-sharing and inform policy decisions.
  • Market Intelligence: Conduct research on global media trends, monitor developments by regional screen agencies, and identify opportunities to strengthen Singapore's media ecosystem.

[What we are looking for]


  • Minimum 5 years of managerial experience in talent or capability development initiatives, or in implementing strategies/policies within media-related sectors (e.g., broadcasters, networks, distributors).
  • Strong knowledge and passion for media content and the entertainment landscape.
  • A collaborative team player who builds good working relationships and contributes positively to a lean and fast-moving team environment.
  • Skilled in stakeholder management with excellent project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication abilities, including speaking, writing, presenting to key stakeholders
