Job Description

Brief Summary

Join a dynamic team where you will play a key role in shaping policy and regulatory frameworks for the telecommunications and media sectors. This position offers the opportunity to engage with diverse stakeholders while driving impactful initiatives.

Responsibilities

Formulate and analyze policies and regulatory issues within the telecommunications, media, and postal sectors, focusing on market regulation and consumer affairs. Develop and implement robust frameworks for market and consumer policy, including quality of service standards for licensees, and ensure necessary enforcement actions are taken. Manage and resolve cases, while effectively engaging stakeholders from both public and private sectors, addressing issues related to service quality. Collaborate with various government agencies to facilitate infrastructure deployment and enhance service quality experiences through a whole-of-government approach.

Requirements

Possess a degree in Economics, Public Policy, Business Administration, Engineering, or related fields. Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in telecommunications, media, postal, or related sectors. Strong written and verbal communication abilities, complemented by effective presentation skills. Demonstrated resourcefulness and proactive attitude capable of analytical and creative problem-solving. Result-oriented with a capacity for multitasking and collaboration able to work independently as part of a team on cross-functional projects.
