Job Profile Summary
This role is an integral part of the Group Investments team whose primary focus is to pursue investment opportunities in both development projects and recurring income assets locally and internationally.
Responsibilities:
This role supports and drives investment performance through the execution of investment strategies across the full deal lifecycle.
- Support investment, divestment and capital recycling strategies in line with CDL Group's objectives.
- Source, evaluate, and execute investment and divestment opportunities.
- Conduct financial feasibility studies, market analysis and investment underwriting.
- Manage end-to-end deal execution, including due diligence, documentation, and preparation of investment papers for management approval.
- Coordinate with internal teams, external advisors, consultants, and joint venture partners throughout the transaction process.
- Monitor financial and operational performance of investment and development assets against underwriting and budgets.
- Perform internal and external asset valuations for accounting, financing, investment, asset management and corporate reporting purposes.
- Support annual budgeting, investment performance reviews and corporate reporting across the Group's Singapore and overseas portfolio.
- Prepare market research, analysis, presentation materials, and inputs for corporate, management, and board-level reports.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business, or a related discipline.
- 5-10 years of relevant experience in real estate investments.
- Proven track record in real estate acquisitions including development and income-producing assets.
- Strong analytical capabilities with advanced financial modelling skills and sound understanding of financial markets.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present clearly to stakeholders.
- Highly self-motivated and results-driven, able to operate independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong team player who collaborates effectively across functions and contributes positively to a high-performance culture.
- Demonstrates ownership, accountability and a strong work ethic.
- Proficient in financial modelling tools and Microsoft Office applications.
