RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage engineering, maintenance, and facilities operations to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant building performance.
- Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance for M&E systems (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, lifts & escalators).
- Manage vendors, term contracts, and contractors, ensuring service quality and cost effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with statutory, safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Support budgeting, cost control, and operational planning.
- Lead facilities-related projects, upgrades, and improvement works.
- Utilize data analytics to monitor asset performance, energy consumption, and maintenance trends to drive informed decision-making.
- Support sustainability initiatives, including energy efficiency, water conservation, and ESG-related improvements.
QUALIFICATIONS- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Building Services, or related field.
- A minimum of 5-7 years of experience as an Assistant Manager and/or 8-12 years of relevant experience as a Manager.
- Strong technical knowledge of building services and facilities management.
- Strong in procurement policies and processes.
- Experience in vendor management, budgeting, and project coordination.
- Exposure to data analytics tools and sustainability practices is an advantage.
- Green Mark Professional, Fire Safety Manager, Water Efficiency Manager, and WSH certifications will be an advantage.
- Good command of spoken and written English.
- Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong technical knowledge of building services and facilities operations.
- Proven leadership and people management skills.
- Good project management and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
- Budgeting, cost control, and vendor management experience.
- Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, Tableau, Power BI and facilities management systems.
- Hands-on, proactive, and detail-oriented.
- Able to work independently and under pressure.
- Willing to respond to emergencies or after-hours issues when required.
