Job Description

COMPANY DESCRIPTION

NVPC is the national agency dedicated to growing a culture of volunteerism and philanthropy in Singapore. By engaging individuals, organisations, communities and leaders across the people, private and public sectors, we seek to create a more caring, inclusive, and compassionate society. Together, we envision Singapore as a City of Good, where everyone is able to give every day and everywhere (3Es), contributing their time, talent, treasure, ties and testimony (5Ts). RESPONSIBILITIES

This role sits in NVPC's Corporate and Industry Partnerships (CIP) department, which drives the Company of Good (COG) initiative - a national platform that supports and recognises companies in Singapore to integrate purpose and social impact into their core business strategies.

Today, there are over 1,000 recognised Companies of Good, helping businesses translate purpose into action across five key impact areas: People, Society, Governance, Environment, and Economic.

As the anchor for this work, NVPC's CIP department plays a pivotal role in shaping and strengthening Singapore's corporate purpose ecosystem - catalysing partnerships and collective impact, with the business community as a driving force for a stronger Singapore.

We are now seeking a purpose-driven and impact-led individual to help advance this national momentum - where both meaningful programme delivery and growing awareness of COG will increasingly become key levers for scaling impact.

In this role, you will support the design, execution and evaluation of programmes and platforms that encourage companies to give and volunteer more, as they embed purpose and impact into how they operate.

Your core work will centre on three key areas: (1) strengthening corporate capabilities in social impact, (2) building and growing the Company of Good community, and (3) scaling impact programmes.

This role works closely with colleagues across CIP to understand what companies are experiencing on the ground, and uses that insight to continuously refine our programmes - ensuring the overall Company of Good journey for firms remains relevant and valuable, not just individual initiatives in isolation.

Strengthen Corporate Capabilities in Social Impact

  • Support the planning and delivery of our leadership development programmes - spanning different leadership audiences - to enable organisations to volunteer and/or donate better - as one reflection of corporates purpose journeys
  • Proactively cultivate new leads through targeted publicity and peer referrals
  • Follow through (and improve) processes that will create powerful and valuable experiences for participants

Build and Grow the Community

  • Support the design and facilitation of community-building and engagement efforts within the Company of Good ecosystem e.g. peer learning, networking events, and platforms for programme alumni to connect, share, and deepen their contributions
  • Support the development and implementation of community engagement and growth strategies

Scale Impact Programmes

  • Support the planning and delivery of NVPC's flagship corporate volunteering programme and ensure it remains relevant to corporates
  • Cultivate potential leads and enable corporates to participate in our volunteering programme
  • Respond to and fulfil requests from corporates seeking support in their corporate volunteering journey
  • Gather insights and feedback from existing partners to identify opportunities to strengthen programme design, delivery and impact

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Communications, Social Sciences, or a related discipline
  • ACTA or WSQ Advanced Certificate in Learning and Performance (ACLP) qualification is advantageous
  • Experience in managing multiple concurrent projects and working across different departments and teams
  • Comfortable forging and growing corporate partnerships to deepen organisations engagement with NVPC
  • Ability to gather and synthesise input from colleagues and stakeholders to inform programme design and improvement, rather than working in a silo
  • A collaborative mindset experience in partnerships and stakeholder engagement is an advantage
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and uncertainty while keeping an eye on outcomes
  • Exposure to ESG, sustainability, or social and community impact initiatives is an advantage

Please note that your application will be sent to and reviewed by the direct employer - National Volunteer & Philanthropy Centre
