Job Description

We are seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented professional to support and/or lead group financial consolidation, general ledger integrity, and intercompany billing processes across multiple entities and jurisdictions.

The role will be calibrated at Assistant Manager or Manager level, depending on the candidate's experience and demonstrated capability.

This position plays a key role in ensuring accurate and timely group reporting, maintaining strong control over GL processes, and driving consistency in intercompany transactions across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

1. Group Consolidation & Reporting

  • Support or lead monthly group consolidation across entities
  • Prepare consolidated financial statements in compliance with IFRS
  • Perform variance analysis and provide insights on group performance
  • Support external audits, including preparation of consolidation schedules and disclosures

2. General Ledger & Controllership

  • Manage month-end closing activities, including journals and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Ensure integrity and accuracy of GL across entities
  • Review key accounting entries and adjustments
  • Maintain consistency in accounting policies and chart of accounts
  • Drive improvements in closing timelines and reporting quality

3. Intercompany Accounting & Billings

  • Oversee intercompany billing processes (e.g. recharges, management fees, cost allocations)
  • Work with Group Taxation team to align intercompany transactions with transfer pricing policies and documentation
  • Monitor and reconcile intercompany balances and resolve discrepancies
  • Coordinate with local finance teams and SSC to ensure consistency
  • Strengthen controls and standardisation over intercompany processes

4. Group Fixed Asset Management

  • Oversee group fixed asset register across all entities, ensuring completeness and accuracy
  • Review capitalisation of assets and ensure compliance with accounting policies
  • Monitor asset movements, disposals, and transfers across entities
  • Ensure timely and accurate depreciation postings and reconciliation to GL
  • Partner with local finance teams on capex tracking and asset verification exercises
  • Support audit requirements relating to fixed assets

5. Process Improvement & Systems

  • Drive standardisation and automation of consolidation and GL processes
  • Enhance ERP usage (e.g. SAP) for consolidation and intercompany workflows
  • Strengthen internal controls over financial reporting
  • Support system implementations and transformation initiatives

Requirements

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/CA preferred)
  • Assistant Manager: 5–7 years of relevant experience
  • Manager: 7–10 years of relevant experience with demonstrated ownership of consolidation processes
  • Strong understanding of IFRS and intercompany accounting
  • Experience in multi-entity, multi-currency environments
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
