RGE is seeking a Compensation & Benefits Assistant Manager / Manager to manage and govern group-wide compensation, benefits, and performance frameworks, providing data-driven guidance to businesses and ensuring competitiveness, consistency, and compliance across geographies.
Compensation & Benefits Strategy
- Develop, review, and maintain group compensation and benefits frameworks, policies, programs, and salary structures.
- Conduct internal and external benchmarking to assess market competitiveness and support equitable pay outcomes.
- Lead and support annual compensation exercises, including merit reviews, bonus planning, and pay adjustments.
- Provide compensation advisory support on salary offers, incentive proposals, and reward decisions.
Performance & Annual Cycle Support
- Provide guidance on annual performance and compensation cycles, including merit differentiation and bonus outcomes.
- Support calibration discussions to ensure consistent execution of performance and reward frameworks.
- Review and validate performance-linked reward proposals for alignment with pay-for-performance principles.
Analytics, Data & Insights
- Analyse compensation, benefits, and performance data to identify trends, outliers, and risks.
- Prepare concise insight reports and recommendations for HR and senior management.
- Develop market benchmarking analyses and tools to support compensation decision-making, particularly for Singapore and selected markets.
Benefits, Incentive & Policy Governance
- Oversee and review the Group's benefits portfolio, including employee health insurance plans, ensuring competitiveness, cost effectiveness, and alignment with employee needs.
- Review, track, and govern incentive and project bonus schemes, ensuring alignment with approved policies, internal controls, and compliance requirements.
- Review, create, and update Corporate HR and C&B-related policies and employee handbooks; monitor regulatory changes and coordinate required updates and communications.
Stakeholder & Vendor Management
- Partner with HRBPs, Finance, and business leaders on compensation, benefits, and policy matters.
- Act as a subject matter advisor on C&B governance, approvals, and compliance.
- Manage external benchmarking and insurance vendors and consultants (e.g. Aon, Mercer, WTW).
Project Leadership & Transformation
- Lead and support key HR and C&B projects, including benefit harmonization and organizational optimization programs.
- Define project scope, milestones, and deliverables, and track progress against agreed timelines.
- Report project status, risks, and recommendations to management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or a related discipline; professional certification (e.g. CCP) is an advantage.
- 8–12 years of experience in compensation & benefits or total rewards, with exposure to group, regional, or multi-country environments.
- Strong experience in market benchmarking, annual compensation cycles, benefits and incentive governance, and policy review.
- Advanced Excel skills required; experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools is an advantage.
- Solid working knowledge of HRIS (e.g. Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, or equivalent).
- Analytical, structured, and detail-oriented, with the ability to translate data into practical guidance.
- Comfortable working with multiple stakeholders across businesses and geographies.
