We are seeking a commercially driven and relationship-focused Assistant Manager/Manager, Advertising Sales & Partnerships to join our Commercial Partnerships team. In this role, you will drive advertising, sponsorship, and venue partnership opportunities that strengthen Singapore EXPO's position as a preferred venue partner for event organisers, brands, and agencies. You will be responsible for growing revenue across venue-wide advertising and sponsorship assets, developing strategic partnerships, and delivering innovative brand activation opportunities that enhance audience engagement and commercial value. Working closely with event organisers, agencies, media owners, and internal stakeholders, you will play a key role in shaping integrated commercial solutions across Singapore EXPO's physical and digital platforms.
- Conceptualise, plan, and execute advertising & promotional (A&P), sponsorships, and venue activation initiatives that enhance Singapore EXPO's commercial revenue opportunities and brand positioning.
- Drive the growth of Singapore EXPO's A&P business across existing client portfolios, while proactively identifying and developing new accounts and untapped market opportunities.
- Manage and grow the A&P sales pipeline, including achieving sales targets, revenue budgets, and sponsorship objectives across venue-wide advertising assets and activation spaces.
- Develop innovative and integrated advertising, sponsorship and brand activation solutions leveraging Singapore EXPO's physical venue assets, Out-of-Home (OOH) media inventory, digital platforms and experiential engagement opportunities.
- Partner closely with event organisers, advertising agencies, media owners and corporate clients to curate customised campaigns and sponsorship packages that maximise brand visibility, audience engagement and campaign impact.
- Handle enquiries, negotiations and account management relating to the utilisation of A&P activation spaces within the venue.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through professional account servicing, with a commitment to delivering business outcomes with integrity, responsiveness, and a high standard of execution.
- Coordinate and liaise with internal stakeholders, contractors, advertising agencies, design houses, printers, authorities, and relevant vendors to ensure smooth execution of A&P activities.
- Monitor market trends, emerging media solutions and audience engagement strategies to continuously strengthen Singapore EXPO's advertising and sponsorship offerings.
- Support cross-functional projects and undertake additional responsibilities as assigned, in line with business and operational needs.
Requirements
- At least 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in advertising & promotional sales, sponsorship sales, media sales or related commercial roles.
- Proven track record in business development, account management and client relationship management.
- Experience in Out-of-Home (OOH), integrated marketing, digital advertising, or experiential marketing solutions will be advantageous.
- Candidates with exposure to online advertising sales across websites, portals, apps, or omnichannel media platforms will have an added advantage.
- Strong communication, presentation, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong project management capabilities with the ability to manage multiple timelines and stakeholders effectively.
- Resourceful, driven and commercially minded, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to thrive under pressure and adapt quickly to evolving business priorities.
