About the Role
The role involves developing and implementing strategies to grow advertising, sponsorship, and commercial partnership opportunities that drive business revenue and strengthen market presence.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies to grow advertising, sponsorship, and commercial partnership opportunities that drive business revenue and strengthen market presence.
- Identify, secure, and expand relationships with new and existing corporate clients, agencies, and business partners to increase sales opportunities.
- Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline by generating leads, preparing proposals, negotiating commercial agreements, and achieving revenue targets.
- Design tailored advertising, sponsorship, and brand activation solutions by combining physical advertising spaces, digital channels, and experiential marketing opportunities.
- Work closely with clients to understand their marketing objectives and recommend customised campaigns that maximise brand exposure and audience engagement.
- Manage the full sales cycle, including responding to enquiries, conducting client presentations, negotiating contracts, and providing ongoing account management.
- Foster long-term partnerships by delivering excellent customer service and maintaining regular engagement with clients to identify repeat and upselling opportunities.
- Coordinate with internal departments, external vendors, creative agencies, production partners, and relevant authorities to ensure campaigns are delivered smoothly and on schedule.
- Monitor industry developments, competitor activities, and emerging advertising trends to identify new commercial opportunities and enhance existing offerings.
- Participate in cross-functional initiatives and support additional commercial projects as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline. Candidates with relevant experience and a proven track record in commercial sales or partnerships are also encouraged to apply.
- At least 5 years of experience in business development, advertising sales, sponsorship sales, media sales, partnership management, or a related commercial function.
Required Skills
- Demonstrated success in developing new business opportunities, managing key accounts, and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Experience in advertising, media, sponsorship, integrated marketing, digital advertising, experiential marketing, or related commercial solutions would be advantageous.
- Familiarity with digital advertising platforms, online media, websites, mobile applications, or omnichannel marketing solutions is an advantage.
- Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Proven ability to prepare commercial proposals, negotiate agreements, and close business opportunities.
- Strong project coordination and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Self-driven, customer-focused, and commercially astute, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic environment and adapting to changing business priorities.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in advertising, media, sponsorship, integrated marketing, digital advertising, experiential marketing, or related commercial solutions would be advantageous.
