Assistant Manager, M&E Projects (2 year contract)

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Assistant Manager, M&E Projects to support the planning, design, execution and delivery of airport lounges and hotel development projects across Singapore and Southeast Asia.

The successful candidate will play a key role in managing E&M Engineering works for new lounges and hotels developments, refurbishments and operational improvement projects. This position requires strong technical knowledge, project management capabilities and the ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders in international environment.

This is a 2-year Contractor role, open to renewal subject to performance.

Responsibilities:

Project Management

• Manage E&M aspects of lounges and hotels development and refurbishment projects from concept design through project completion.
• Monitor project schedules, budgets, quality and risks to ensure successful delivery.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders, consultants, contractors, airport authorities and operators throughout project execution.
• Conduct regular site inspections and progress reviews.
• Provide updates to management.

Engineering & Technical Coordination

• Review engineering designs, drawings, specifications and technical submissions.
• Ensure compliance with company standards, airport requirements and local statutory regulations.
• Coordinate the design and installation of:
• Electrical Systems
• HVAC Systems
• Plumbing & Drainage Systems
• Fire Protection Systems
• ELV/IT Infrastructure Systems
• Provide technical recommendations and resolve design or site coordination issues.

Tendering & Procurement

• Assist in preparation of tender documents
• Conduct technical evaluations of contractors, suppliers and consultants.
• Review quotations, proposals and value engineering opportunities.
• Support contract administration and project cost management.

Testing & Commissioning

• testing and commissioning activities.
• Manage defect rectification and project handover processes.
• Ensure all required project documentation is properly maintained and submitted.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of relevant project management experience, ideally from airports or hotels environment
• Strong technical knowledge
• Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders in international environment.
• Strong business acumen in project planning and management
• Strong verbal, written, and organisational skills
