Assistant Manager
The Assistant Manager helps to support the effective day-to-day operations of the Centre. These might include staff supervision, administrative tasks, and other operational tasks.
Job Responsibilities
Staff Supervision
- Update the manager on clients progress and development
- Supervise staff in their collaboration with Psychological Services and schools SEN-O on case management
- Oversee Kids Club programmes
- Mentor newer teachers
- Any other assigned duties and responsibilities
Centre Operations & Administration
- Assist the Manager in the day-to-day running of the Centre
- Manage class schedules
- Assist in enrolment and placement process
- Assist in planning, implementing and evaluating programmes and activities
- Assist in reporting to Senior Management/ Funders
- Handle students administrative matters
Job Requirements
- Available to work on Saturdays (40 hours work week)
- Sound theoretical understanding of child development
- Experience with working with children with diverse developmental profiles
- Preferably trained in the OG approach
- Some experience in managing and supervising a diverse staff team
- Passionate about working with children with learning needs
- Good command of the English language, preferably bilingual
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to collaborate with corporate partners, schools and hospitals
- Degree, preferably in psychology, early childhood education or special needs education
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic IT knowledge and skills
